Task 11.1: Adaptive Control
The aim of this task is the creation of adaptive engine systems and components in order to obtain improved engine response in variable operating conditions and component status. Feasibility studies of various adaptive control schemes will be performed. Prototype systems of advanced engine diagnostics and adaptive engine controls will be developed and tested. The most promising technologies will be introduced onto production engines for overall service testing.
