Task 7.1: Internal Measures
This task focuses in the analysis and theoretical investigation of the mechanisms of particulate formation in marine diesel engines. The effect of operating conditions and fuel quality, on particulates size, distribution and composition will be investigated. The theoretical analysis will be complemented with particulate formation laboratory tests, measurements and experimental verification.
