Task 8.2: Monitoring of emission
The main objective of this task is the development of practical and reliable methods for emissions monitoring in service. Emissions measuring technologies will be extended for individual cylinder measurements. The developed systems will be applied to marine diesel engines and laboratory engine tests will be performed. Demonstration of potential and associated expense of all technologies will also be assessed.
